News You Can Use: July 11, 2025
This week, we informed members that the public can comment on the proposed OCME fee increase at a hearing on August 5. We also reminded you that Massachusetts law allows funeral homes to include any new local, state, or federal taxes or fees in a funeral contract. Additionally, we announced that Dan Ford from Connecticut will lead the NFDA for the 2025-26 term, and that The Conference is seeking volunteers to serve on several committees.
