MFDA Covid-19 Update for Friday, April 24, 2020 -- The Registry of Vital Records released a memo to certifiers and we include a printable copy of it; The Registry also reminds funeral directors that only VIP coversheets should be used to send documents, and certifier worksheets should never be sent. This update also includes an explanation from the New Jersey Funeral Directors Association about significant restrictions enacted on funeral service in that state; as well as a state Board advisory about cremation; a document authorizing photo identification of decedents; a list of deadly chemical combinations; and updates on PPE and Covid-19 cases and deaths in Massachusetts.
