This week Governor Baker announced Step 1 of Phase IV could begin.  We broke down what that means for funeral establishments.  We covered points to consider if you are thinking about requiring employee COVID-19 vaccinations. We updated you on COVID-19 restrictions at both of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemeteries — Agawam and Winchendon.  We also ask you to take a formaldehyde survey and provided information on the following:  Funeral reimbursement funding in the American Rescue Plan; the first human composting facility, which has opened in Seattle; the planned maintenance to the main morgue cooler at UMass Memorial Medical Center; and new contact information for the UMass Medical School Foundation.
