This week we reported on CANA's newly released Annual Statistics Report that showed the Massachusetts cremation rate increased by almost 1 percent while the national rate increased by 1.8 percent. Also in this issue, we reported the FEMA reimbursement data for Massachusetts, 53 violators were sent to prosecution for failure to file the Preneed Annual Report by the Jan. 31 deadline, the deadline is fast approaching for the June 8 OSHA training session, and that there were fewer births and U.S. residents were living longer, leading to the share of those age 65 or older grew by more than a third from 2010 to 2020.
