This week we reminded funeral directors of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's reporting requirements. Also in this issue, we introduced a new format, announced that the Board of Registration in Embalming and Funeral Directing took action on the matter of CEUs and Funeral Assistants and Apprentices, provided a legislative update on three bills on the MFDA's priority list, announced that three area colleges are holding information sessions, and congratulated John Bourgoin of Chapman Funerals and Cremations in Falmouth on being selected to attend the 2024 Northeast Funeral Service Partnership Leadership Academy as an MFDA representative.
