This week we issued a legislative alert about two pending bills before the state legislature that funeral directors should be aware of. Also in this issue, we reminded directors that May is Mental Health Awareness Month and that the National Funeral Directors Association has partnered with SupportLinc to offer a member assistance program; shared information about the spring 2024 funeral service program graduate pinning events at regional schools; and asked volunteers to assist plant flags on the graves at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam for Memorial Day.
