This week, we shared Immediate Past President Maggie McNally's testimony before the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner about its proposed increase in the cremation (burial at sea) viewing fee. We also presented MFDA President Stephen Gemelli's report from the NFDA Leadership Conference in California; announced Plan Today, Honor Forever, a new Veterans Administration campaign designed to inform veterans of their burial eligibility; and provided MAVRIC tips, including tips on amending records that were migrated from VIP/EDRS and certifying records on behalf of an offline certifier.
