This week, we celebrated National Funeral Director and Mortician Appreciation Day and recognized the vital work funeral professionals perform daily in serving families and communities. We also shared our testimony with the Joint Committee on Public Health regarding a bill that would amend state law to permit the scattering at sea of unclaimed cremated remains.
 
Additionally, we invited funeral directors to attend the upcoming 54th Massachusetts Regiment Military Ball, shared a useful cybersecurity tip, and encouraged members who are veterans to connect with us so we can reach out for feedback when issues related to veteran services and benefits arise.
